The EWG operating system is a fully electric steering actuator that controls the wicket gate of hydroelectric turbines, eliminating the use of oil. This solution reduces the risk of water contamination due to an oil leak, which may occur with hydraulic actuators. It provides very accurate, stable and highly dynamic water flow controls.
